Our customer
Swadlincote Windows are one of Derbyshire's largest independent manufacturers and installers of double-glazed windows, doors and conservatories. Now in their 25th year, initially the company owned vehicles to deliver and install their products. The growth of the business required a larger fleet and a comprehensive vehicle hire solution, which Close Brothers Vehicle Hire has provided for the past 5 years.
The challenge
With the contract hire in need of renewal, and the range of products and services becoming more varied, Swadlincote Windows required replacement vehicles with different specifications for each of the 13 vans needed. This meant selecting a van suitable to meet the wider company needs and looking individually at each vehicle for bespoke changes.
This challenge required exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication needed for the project. The operations needed plan in place for a transition from the previous vehicles to introduce the new, with minimal impact to the end client.
Our customer service team prioritise excellent relationships between all points of contacts, invaluable when complex projects are being undertaken. Demonstrating a timeline of delivery and collection to ensure there was no reduction or stoppage to business-as-usual.
